Excellent
From: chairmanohtv
In October 2016 a plaque commemorating Asquith Xavier, an accidental campaigner who overturned a colour bar at Euston 50 years ago, was unveiled at Euston station by his family. As recently as 1966, at some British Railways stations, black people were not allowed to work in jobs where they came into contact with passengers. The first Race Relations Act had been passed in 1965 but did not cover employment. Produced by The One Show.
